Public Vote: Your Voice on Polls, Petitions & Reviews

Getting Started

Register: Create a new account by navigating to /auth/register. You can sign up as an "Individual User" or an "Official Entity".
Login: If you have an account, log in at /auth/login to access all features.
Guest Participation: You can vote on polls and sign petitions without a full account by providing your name and email/mobile. The system will create a "guest" account for you, which you can fully register later using the same email.

Create a Poll: Go to the "Polls" page and click "Create New Poll." You can use our AI assistant to help generate a question, description, and options based on a topic you provide. You can also add images to make your poll more engaging.
Vote on a Poll: Click on any active poll to view its details. Select an option and click "Submit Vote." If you're not logged in, you'll be asked for your name and email/mobile.
Suggest Options: If the poll creator has enabled it, you can suggest a new option for others to vote on. This requires you to be logged in.

Start a Petition: Go to the "Petitions" page and click "Start a Petition." Fill in the title, a detailed description, the target entities (who it's for), and a signature goal. Our AI assistant can help you write a compelling title and description. You can also upload images to support your cause.
Sign a Petition: View any active petition. If you agree with the cause, click "Sign This Petition." You can add a reason for your signature if the creator has enabled this option.

Submit a Review: You can review companies, products, or services. Go to "Submit Review" or find a company profile and click "Write a Review." Provide a rating (1-5 stars) and a comment. Our AI can help you write or enhance your review text.
Anonymity: You can choose to post a review anonymously if you are logged in. If you are not logged in, you can leave the name blank to post with a persistent anonymous ID.

Create a Company Profile: You can create a profile for a business by navigating to `/companies/create`. You will need to provide company details and verify ownership via an email sent to the company's official email address.

Who Can Register: Official accounts can be created by government departments, non-profits, organizations, or public figures who may be the target of petitions. During registration, select "Official Entity".
Viewing Petitions: When an entity logs in, their dashboard will show a "Petitions for You" tab. This tab lists all active petitions on the platform that have named the entity as a target.
Printing Reports: From the main page of a petition addressed to them, an entity can click the "Print Report" button. This generates a detailed, printable document containing the petition's details, all signatory information, and a verification stamp from PUBLIC.VOTE.

Once logged in, you can access your profile dashboard by clicking your name in the header. Here you can:

View Your Activity: See a feed of your recent actions, like polls created, petitions signed, etc.
Manage Your Content: Access tabs to view and manage all the polls, petitions, reviews, and company profiles you've created.
Manage Poll Suggestions: If you've created a poll that allows suggestions, you can approve or reject options suggested by other users from your "My Polls" tab.
Edit Your Profile: Update your name, public URL (slug), and other personal details.
